i hate cardio & kickboxing videos that rely on jumps - ilaria's routines are great b/c they incorporate great moves w/ great music. the arms get a workout too, the pace gradually ramps up so that before you know it you're sweating a lot. i'm advanced (cathe, jari - and LALOFIT - really great) & i always put this dvd in when i need dependable cardio.

Muay Thai Training Techniques

Muay Thai is a Thai mixed martial art form. It has many techniques of fighting. During treatment with Muay Thai techniques, also known as "Mae May Muay Thai use," fighters of the entire body including fists, elbows, shins, feet and knees.

The basic Muay Thai training techniques include punch techniques (jab, straight right / cross, hook and uppercut), elbow techniques (horizontal, diagonal-upwards, diagonal downwards, uppercut,downward, backward-spinning and flying) and kicking techniques (push kick, roundhouse kick, etc.). Following are some specific techniques, Muay Thai:

The Clinch

This technique will be used exclusively in Muay Thai fights. During the fight the fighter is the technique by his opponent either around the neck and head or around the body. It is as well known Thai Clinch.

To clinch is applicable to be holding the fightersOpponent either around the neck and head or around the body. The fighter has also press his forearm against his opponent's collar bone while his hands are around the head of the latter, rather than the neck.

Clinch a common technique used in Muay Thai fights to his head, then tap enter throw down. The fighter can also throw the opponent to let in his case, the latter with a knee from the right. It can cause the opponent to lose his balance.
The Kru

This is a difficult technique. A new fighter takes a lot of training and hard work to learn this technique. The technique is obtained from the Krue fighters or Thai boxing training. The trainer makes the fighter to work hard and learn the technique. It is a tradition for the fighters to bring about his respects to his coach expressed by a ritual called Wai Kru.

There are some elements that are part of the Muay Thai training techniques. These include: --

Running - A trainee has (at 18 km running per day for about 12 km in the first half and run) about 6 km in the second half.

Stretching - The student has to do, a distance of approximately 20-30 minutes. It improves elasticity and reduces the muscle stretch reflex.

Shadow Boxes - This training will consist of approximately 20 minutes of shadow boxing. Shadow boxing is practiced normally before a mirror.

Muay ThaiTraining takes a lot of hard work. To be a good young fighter must go through a lot of physical and psychological stress. It takes pure dedication, commitment and never-say-die "attitude that a trainee becomes a good Muay Thai fighter.
